WHEREAS the parties discussed multiple concerns during the 2024 bargaining process that did not translate into new articles in the collective agreement;
WHEREAS the parties agreed that formalizing discussions between the Union and the Employer would
be beneficial;
NOW THEREFORE the parties agree as follows:
1. The incorporation of a new Labour Relations Committee;
2. This committee will be a maximum of two (2) representatives of each party whose identity may vary based on the issues raised. Union representatives who are scheduled at the time set for such a meeting will be released without loss of wages for the duration of the meeting;
3. The mandate of the committee is to engage in:
a) discussions regarding grievances or disagreements;
b) discussions regarding working conditions or relationships;
c) discussions related to any other topic of common interest.
4. The parties agree to meet upon request. The party requesting the meeting shall prepare the agenda and take the minutes to provide to both parties within two (2) weeks of the meeting.
