There is an educational trust fund available to you. We offer full-time and part-time union employees funding to help subsidize the cost of educational courses not related to your work within the company.
What courses can you take?
Sky is the limit! You can use this fund for anything from cooking to baking classes, learn a new language, want to learn a new skill … we will fund just about anything not directly related to your work. Contact us at educationtrustfund@bellmedia.ca to see if your course of interest is covered.
What courses does the fund NOT apply to?
The Educational Trust Fund does not accept applications for sport or personal fitness nature courses including personal trainers, dance classes, sporting activities, exercise or yoga classes.
How much are you eligible for?
– Full-time employees get up to $1,500 per year
– Part-time employees get up to $750 per year
How can you apply for the fund?
The application process is very simple. You can find the application on-line on the www.unifor899.com website. Email the signed application with supporting information including course info, receipts and transcript of final grades to educationtrustfund@bellmedia.ca
What if you don’t have all the information at the time of application?
Receipts and transcripts can be submitted later but payment will not be made until these items are received.
